Happy New Year everyone, and welcome back to school for all the students out there.
For the last 4 months the SMU Women's Centre has been going through some restructuring and reorganizing. We are now trying to put on more great programs, workshops and other events this semester. Possible upcoming events include a zine making workshop, writing help for students, capoeira, The Vagina Monologues, and a lot more. We are always open to suggestions for different workshops or events people would like to see happen, so bring it on!Though we are a University Women's Centre, all of our events and workshops are open to the community as well. The centre is also a space to just come and hang out, study, have a free tea or coffee, use our library, or just say hi. So please drop in. Our hours and location are on this blog.
