Party Time!

The WC hosted its holiday party / social on Dec 4th. In the midst of writing and marking exams and term papers, it was like a breath of fresh air to show up for the social where we just decompressed. It was an evening filled with laughter and chat, where the guests and hosts took out time to get dressed up, and just chill! There was the tinkling of glasses and lovely treats – home-made and store-bought and the WC came alive once again to the sound of Christmas music! It was a time to just sit back and relax and enjoy each other’s company; to reconnect with friends we had missed even as we wished for an even more happening year ahead of us! We had volunteers, coordinators and board members and the youngest amongst us was the 2 year old daughter of our ex-coordinator! For all intents and purposes, the party was a hit when she told her Mommy, “Nice party!”
